Our local guides will lead you on a high-energy adventure through the quiet majesty of the desert. To make the day even more fun, we also include sandboarding! Your adventure begins at our desert ranch, where you will meet your strong horse and receive a safety briefing before heading into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. As you leave the village of Merzouga, you will enjoy the thrill of a fast gallop across the wide desert plains or a steady ride through the shifting sands, guided by our local experts. Halfway through the journey, we take an adrenaline-filled break for sandboarding, allowing you to glide down the high dunes while we serve you chilled, mint-infused water and fresh dates. To finish the tour, you will ride along the high ridges to witness the quiet majesty of the Sahara at sunset, capturing a unique and sure-footed view of Morocco’s most iconic landscape before returning to the ranch.

What should I wear for horseback riding?
We recommend long trousers (to prevent saddle chafing) and closed-toe shoes (like sneakers or boots). Don’t forget your sunglasses and a scarf to protect against the sun and wind.
